USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse Associate/Driver to join our team. This position will be located in our Springfield, MA location
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
- Support general warehouse duties and contribute to a safe, organized work environment.
- Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed.
- Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
- Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
- Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.
- Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
- Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment
- Must be strongly independent
- Must have a valid driver’s license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card
- Customer Service experience and Driving Experience
- Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service
